As we stroll
the rainy highlands
of Virigina
it stirs something deep
in our Scottish souls
and makes us dream of
the scent of heather......

would wear a raincoat,
we give in

Towels and mud have become a part of our daily routine here with all the rain:( Bring on the sun.
ReplyDeleteMud is plentiful in our back yard - days are spent cleaning little footprints off of the hardwood floors. Even with towelling, the footprints seem to remain - more rain expected today, so the towels are ready by the back door!! Hope to see the sun soon :o)

I want to know what is wrong with a good muddy walk in the rain then going straight to lie down on the couch?
ReplyDeleteToodle pip!
Bertie (who has actually been enjoying some rare Scottish sunshine this week!)
OH GOOD GRIEF! I love that raincoat! I mean...if you have to get on the couch after a rainy walk, then you must make a sacrifice. I guess. Although I really don't know what could be wrong with a wet couch.
ReplyDeleteAroroooo! Stuart
What happy thoughts!! It's raining here, so we might as well enjoy it!!

Mom says that the worst part of winter ending and spring coming is the mud. We don't agree with her at all!

Love the rain coat. We would have to chase the Bug around the house and drag her from under the couch before she would allow that. She is S.P.O.I.L.E.D. Waiting and dreaming of spring. 3-4 inches of snow this morning.
ReplyDeleteWe're having a lot of close encounters with towels, too. But that's because we've been in the river.
ReplyDeleteRaining today.
