TASTY TUESDAY

One of the hardest task
that falls to me
is deciding what to
make for dinner.

I love to cook -
it's just the deciding
that wears me out.

This year,
I've tried
several new recipes.

Last night,
I made
Chicken Tamale Casserole
from
The Cooking Light website.

The only change I made
was that once I shredded the chicken,
I mixed the enchilada sauce
in with it
while the cornbread base baked.

I will have to give this recipe
"2 thumbs up".
It is not only easy,
it is delicious
and one that I would make
again and again.
It would even be a great dish
to take to a potluck dinner.

Blessings to all who visit here,
Lynn

  4. A cookbook you might like is The Heart Association Cookbook. Mine is held together with rubber bands because I've used it so much the pages are falling out. We especially like the chili recipe and over the weekend I made the stew which was wonderful, though I made a few little changes to it.

  5. That does look really good!! I never cook anymore. I depend on microwave dinners which isn't the best thing for your health. I really should make that a goal to start cooking again! Lots of love, Debbie

  6. Ok, I am going to go get this one. Hubs has not been a fan of a lot of the cooking lite recipes that I tried. He did like the fish recipe that I posted on my site and the smothered steaks but not much else.
